Hi I am Lars, a Photography Tutor and I want to showcase the work of these three young Photographers who just completed a 6 session course with me through the awesome school, Collage Barcelona. Collage is a dynamic, educational space with a creative, hands-on approach to teaching english. They have been absolutely brilliant. The course has covered, perspective, rule of thirds, black and white, theme setting, experimental shots, object distortion, city imaging, portraits and analysing photos. The aim was to develop confidence in photography and expressing ideas around images to find your true voice creatively.
I started this course already liking photography but I was really centred on just taking photos of people and landscapes, the classes have helped me open up my mind to new cool ideas that I can now play around with. Lars was a really motivational teacher and I really recommend her courses, they are fun but I learned a lot at the same time.

When I first started in this class, I didn’t know much about photography. I wanted to find an area I was good at/enjoyed. Now I’m comfortable shooting many different types of photos and I like black and white the best. My favourite photos would probably be the ones I shot at night of the city.

Starting off this class I wasn’t sure what type of photography I liked most or what I wanted to focus on. I’ve always liked photography and focused on taking pictures on my own but I never took a class. As the class went on I started to realise what type of photography I was into. I started taking more black and white pictures because black and white sort of caught my eye. I also found out that I love street and travel photography. I love taking pictures of nature, people, and city views. My favourite pictures are the architecture in the museum and the picture with the dog and the trees.
